Overview

This article outlines the major version lifecycle policies for Dialog LabelConnect for Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365BC or Business Central).

Every 6-months Microsoft will release a "major" version of Business Central, also known as "Wave 1" (April) and "Wave 2" (October).

  • This lifecycle policy is based on major versions. See more: Version numbers in Business Central.
  • LabelConnect customers will receive a new major version every 6 months including new features and big fixes.
  • Critical updates will be rolled-out as an when available.
  • All updates are cumulative.
  • Documentation is maintained and each update will include release notes here.
  • Customers should test updates in a sandbox environment before scheduling to production.

NOTE: Dialog LabelConnect is not available as an on-premise app.

For Partners

Per-tenant extensions developed on Dialog LabelConnect are subject to this policy, we may deprecate functionality in line with our product objectives. It is the partner's responsibility to maintain per-tenant extensions
